Federal employee awarded $75,000 in compensatory damages. Complainant a federal employee, filed an EEO alleging sex-based harassment including non-sexual and sexual harassment. Complainant did not request an EEOC hearing. The Agency awarded her some damages, but she appealed to the EEOC. On appeal, the EEOC awarded $75,000 in non-pecuniary compensatory damages where nearly two years of sexual harassment caused embarrassment and humiliation, triggered daily headaches and weekly migraines, and resulted in a diagnosis of anxiety.
