EEOC increases emotional distress award. Complainant filed an EEO alleging sexual harassment and retaliation. After investigation, the matter was heard by a EEOC Administrative Judge (AJ). The AJ awarded $15,000 in emotional distress and $8,125 in future monetary losses. The Agency appealed to the EEOC’s OFO. On appeal, the OFO determined that Complainant’s emotional distress damages should be increased to $25,000.
